GOLDEN GATE NATIONAL PARK
23 December 2007

We're almost 4 years here in San Francisco but we haven't seen the Golden Gate National Park. This is our Central Park here in the Bay Area and it was definitely a sight to see. So we decided to hit the road one Sunday and explore the park. We were not able to see the whole park 'coz it was really huge! It started to overcast that afternoon so we went home and promised ourselves to come back in Spring. We were able to see the Japanese garden, De Young Museum and the Conservatory of Flowers. This year's theme is "Winter Carnivale". Hope you enjoy our pictures!

Daintee's US Vacation

I finally got the chance to post the pictures taken during Daintee's vacation in the US. It was a very stressful and tiring 10 days! How can you possibly manage to see 4 great cities in just 10 short days? Well, good thing I was able to manage it! We were able to go to Las Vegas and stayed at The Mirage with my cousin Tracy and her family. Tito Nonie and his family came over too to spend the weekend with us there. We had a grand time hotel hopping and eating at the buffet restaurants. Next stop for us was LA and San Diego where we met our cousins from the Alabastro side. We were not able to see much in LA 'coz Daintee opted to shop in the Outlet than explore the city. Then my cousin Jor-el took us to San Diego to see his new place. We stayed there overnight and the following day took us to see the Miramar Base, USS Carrier (sorry, i forgot the exact names) and the Boardwalk. San Diego is such a nice place to live. The weather is nice as well as the people. Daintee took her time buying and shopping at the Outlet! That was tiring...really! Anyway, Daintee spent the rest of her vacation wih us in San Francisco. Jojo thought that the best way to see San Francisco is to join the group tour. So we did take the trolley tour and the ferry tour! It was a blast...didn't know that there are so many things to explore San Francisco. So i hope you enjoy our pix!

Lovely day at the Golden Gate Park

Our friends came over to visit us here in the Bay Area. Eric, Jeline and the kids had a lay-over from Alabama before going back to the Philippines. Pynki flew in as well after her conference in Ohio. I couldn't believe that we would be seeing each other here in the US. They are my bestfriends from highschool and it's too bad that Lydia and Anna weren't able to join us. Claire Hipolito, Jojo and Pynki's classmate from Ateneo came also to join us with her boyfriend. It was a busy week for us not to mention that it's also our 10th wedding anniversary on June 14. We spent most of the day with our friends touring the city visiting the famour landmarks of SF and at night time we went to see Kuya Boy and Emilio who happened to be here, too!

Weekend with cousins

Kuya Melo and his family, Frann, Kady and Anthony came over to visit us here in the Bay Area. They drove all the way from Palmdale, CA with Moren Dia and Jesse Bico. It's really nice to see familiar faces from Tiaong Quezon once in awhile. Kuya Nellie gave us dinner at Beijing Buffet in South San Francisco while Ate Gigi, Ian and Jab joined us as well. It was a fun night chatting with your cousins and friends. That night, Jesse and Moren, took us in Hillsborough to meet another kababayan, Mr. and Mrs. Cecilio Buisan. kayla was so amazed that she couldn't believe that the house has an elevator. What a big house it is!!!

Here's one of the many reasons why you should visit Las Vegas...it's the dancing fountain at Bellagio Hotel.
