Daintee came to visit us again for the second time in row this year from November 22 until the 30th. As usual, she gave us a short notice that she's coming over so we didn't much have time to prepare. We decided just to hang out and have a bonding moment since we were not able to do this last year. Her vacation in 2008 was hectic...there were to sp much places to see and family member to visit. So this year it was simply R & R and shopping marathon for her although the highlight of her vacation in SF was watching the "Phantom of the Opera" in Golden Gate Theater.

I never fail to listen to this song everyday. It uplifts my mood everytime I hear it and I hope you enjoy it too as much as I do. Who else should we thank but our Lord for all the good things that He has showered us! Happy thanksgiving to all!

We watched the matinee show of Hairspray at Orpheum Theater as a way of celebrating our 11th year wedding anniversary. Never thought that we would last this long! I can still very well recall the day we were married at St. James the Great in Ayala Alabang. Our marriage is not perfect....we too have ups and downs like any other couples but most of the time we have great time together. Maybe this is because we have the same interests....books, theaters, food and most of all FAITH in GOD! Cheers to Jojo!

P.S. The play was so great...I would highly recommend it! 60's was the most colorful era and the play captured it very well in songs, costumes and stage design. It's really worth it! We came in early so we decided to look around the neighborhood and had some picture taking.

One of my fave scenes from the Hairspray Musical - Mama I'm a Big Girl Now!

Jojo and I decided to take a one day off from work last April 16, 2008 to watch High School Musical in San Francisco. Jojo wasn't so crazy about this whole play 'coz he likes only "mature" plays. Being a kid by heart, he didn't have any choice but to tag along with me and watch it. Boy, we were so lucky! We were able to get a good seats for a bargain price! We felt so out of place when we entered the theater. We were seated next to kids about more than half of our age. Sure, there were older couples there but they were with their kids! But nevertheless, we did enjoy the play. The music were so great and the performers were so energetic. Even Jojo enjoyed it! It was non-stop fun from the beginning up to the end. So if you guys are fun of the Wildcats or just would like to enjoy the evening...watch High School Musical! It's fun...go WILDCATS!!!!

I fell In love instantly the moment I heard this song by Maureen McGovern. I find it so beautiful and just hearing this song makes me fall in love all over again. I just couldn't pass the opportunity of not posting this in our blog. It's very romantic and I dedicate this to all my friends who are in love or looking for love but most importantly to my dearest hubby, Jojo. Hope you like it....HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!
